Insta Music League 2025: Official Terms & Conditions
By submitting your work ("Submission"), you agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
Introduction
Welcome to the Insta Music League 2025 (the "Contest"). By submitting your work ("Submission"), you ("Participant" or "You") enter into a legally binding agreement with TSC Academy ("Organizer," "We," "Us" or "TSC Academy") and agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
1. Contest Period
- (a) Start Date & Time: November 1, 2025 at 12:00 AM (midnight).
- (b) End Date & Time: December 7, 2025 at 11:59 PM (midnight).
- (c) All entries must be submitted within this period to be considered valid.
- (d) The Organizer reserves the right to extend, shorten, or modify the Contest Period at its sole discretion with prior notice.
2. Eligibility
- (a) The Contest is open worldwide to individuals aged 18 years and older.
- (b) Participants can be solo singer-songwriters, music producers, bands, or song creator groups. For group entries, one member must be designated as the point of contact.
- (c) Employees of the Organizer, its affiliates, judges, and their immediate family members are not eligible.
- (d) The Contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
- (e) The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Participants and may disqualify any Participant for providing false information or violating these Terms.
3. How to Participate (Round One: Entry Submission)
- (a) Create: Record a performance of your original song. The recording can be made on a mobile phone; professional studio recordings are not required. Record your voice in a calm and quiet setup, focusing on clean audio quality. We're looking for raw talent: Scratch, Premix, and final mix versions are all acceptable.
- (b) Upload: Upload the performance as a Reel to your public Instagram account.
- (c) Tag & Follow: In the caption of your Reel, you MUST send collab request to @The_Shakti_Collective. You must also be following @The_Shakti_Collective.
- (d) Public Profile: Your Instagram profile must be set to 'Public' for the duration of the Contest. Entries from private accounts are ineligible.
4. Submission Guidelines & Warranties
- (a) Originality: The submitted work must be your original creation and must not have been previously published, licensed, or submitted for consideration elsewhere. NO AI generated Composition, Lyrics or Singing is permitted. If AI usage is detected, the entry will be immediately disqualified.
- (b) Participant's Warranties: By entering, you represent and warrant that:
- i. Your Submission is original, and you own all rights, title, and interest in it.
- ii. You have the full right and authority to submit the work and to grant the rights and licenses outlined in these Terms.
- iii. The Submission does not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights.
- iv. The Submission does not violate any applicable laws.
- v. The Submission is unencumbered by any third-party claims, including those from collective rights management organizations or copyright societies, and you agree to notify the Organizer if you are a member of such an organization. To the extent that you are required to obtain rights, licenses, permissions, clearances and/or approvals necessary in connection with the Submission and/or the Organizer's exercise, directly or indirectly, of the rights and authorizations granted under these Terms, you have done so or will timely do so.
5. Competition Format & Judging
- (a) Round One: Entry Submission: All valid entries will be reviewed by a preliminary panel.
- (b) Round Two: Shortlisting: Approximately 5% of entries will be shortlisted.
- (c) Round Three: Final Round: Up to 200 Finalists will be evaluated by our judges: Sandesh Shandilya, Prasad Khaparde, and Rohith Sobti.
- (d) Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged on originality, artistic merit, emotional depth, musicality, lyrical content, and overall impact. The decisions of the judges are final and binding.
6. Prizes & Winner Notification
A total of 15 Winners will be selected.
- (a) Grand Prize Winner (1): ₹5,00,000 + 1-year full access scholarship.
- (b) 1st Runner Up (1): ₹1,00,000 + 1-year full access scholarship.
- (c) 2nd Runner Up (1): ₹50,000 + 1-year full access scholarship.
- (d) Special Mention (10): ₹10,000 each + 1-year full access scholarship.
- (e) X Factor (2): ₹25,000 each + 1-year full access scholarship.
- (f) Top 50 Participants: 50% scholarship for one course.
- (g) Top 100 Participants: 20% scholarship for one course.
- (h) Music Release Opportunity: The Grand Prize Winner (or Top 3) will have the opportunity to collaborate with TSC Academy to produce and release up to three (3) songs, subject to a separate music production agreement.
- (i) Winners will be notified via Instagram Direct Message and must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize.
- (j) Prize Distribution: All prizes (cash rewards and scholarships) will be given post publishing the content. Prizes will be distributed after the winner's content has been officially published by TSC Academy. The exact timeline for prize distribution will be communicated to winners during the notification process.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
- (a) License for Promotion: By submitting an entry, you grant TSC Academy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, and display your Submission (and your name/likeness) for promotional purposes related to this Contest and future contests on all modes, media, formats and platforms.
- (b) Assignment of Rights Upon Selection: If your Submission is selected as a winner (any of the top 15), you hereby irrevocably and perpetually assign to the Organizer all worldwide rights, title, and interest in the submitted work and all derivative works, including all intellectual property rights therein. The Organizer shall have the unrestricted right to adapt, modify, remix, translate, commercialize, and exploit the work in any medium or format without further compensation. The Organizer will enter into a separate agreement with the winner in respect of the same.
- (c) Waiver of Moral Rights: To the extent permitted by law, if your work is selected, you irrevocably waive all moral rights in relation to the submitted work, including the right to object to any modification, distortion, or adaptation of the work by the Organizer.
- (d) Further Documentation: You shall execute such further documentation as may be required by the Organizer in connection with the rights granted herein.
8. Confidentiality
You agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any non-public information shared by the Organizer in connection with your Submission or any potential collaboration, including artistic concepts, communications, and monetization strategies. This obligation survives indefinitely.
9. Indemnity
You shall fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organizer, its members, affiliates, officers, and agents from and against any and all losses, damages, claims, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- (a) Any breach of these Terms by you.
- (b) Any third-party claim of infringement, misappropriation, or violation of intellectual property rights related to your Submission.
- (c) Any violation of applicable law by you.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or reputational harm, arising from or in connection with your Submission or these Terms.
11. General Terms
- (a) Right to Modify or Terminate: The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest or these Terms at any time for any reason, without incurring any liability.
- (b) No Obligation: Submission does not guarantee selection or any further contractual engagement.
- (c) Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
12. Consent and Acknowledgment
- (a) You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
- (b) You are the sole creator of the submitted work and are authorized to make the Submission.
- (c) You agree that no further expectation shall arise beyond what is expressly stated herein unless mutually agreed in a separate written agreement.
- (d) By participating, Participants agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal data for the purposes of administering the Contest, contacting winners, and promotional purposes, in accordance with the Organizer's privacy policy.
